JCI training encourages youth to ‘Be Better’

The Mongolian branch of the international non-profit organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) last week organized a two-day training called “Be Better” aimed at bringing about positive changes in youth. The training focused on developing creativity, positive thinking and leadership skills among the participating youth. The participants also learned about JCI’s values and plans for the future.

It was led by the 2007 President of JCI, Scott Greenlee, and a former president of the Mongolian branch of JCI, U.Batbayar.

The current president, Ts.Baatarbileg explained that JCI has been organizing such trainings since 2003 with the aim of opening the creative minds of youth, while also promoting association and partnership among youth.

“This year’s training emphasizes discovering yourself,” Ts.Baatarbileg explained.

JCI is a membership-based organization of 200,000 young people aged 18 to 40, and it has activities in over 100 countries around the world. The members share the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves. The organization seeks targeted solutions to the unique problems in our communities to build a better world.
