Inner Mongolia Mobile Clinics Benefit Women, Children

The Genhe Women's Federation of Genhe City in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region distributed 17 mobile clinics under the Health Express for Mothers project to the health center of the city's Aoluguya Township on March 21, 2013.

The center should make good use of the mobile clinics to provide medical services to women and children of the township, said Guo Liying, president of the Genhe Women's Federation.

The Health Express for Mothers project, jointly launched in 2003 by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the National Working Committee on Children and Women (NWCCW) under the State Council, aims to provide medical treatment to disadvantaged women and children in poverty-stricken areas through the use of vehicles fitted out with medical equipment.
