Hanoi hosts 15th intergovernmental meeting between Mongolia and Vietnam

Cooperation on trade, economics, science and technology are the topics of the 15th intergovernmental commission meeting between the Government’s of Mongolia and Vietnam. It is currently being held in Hanoi city, Vietnam and will close tomorrow, March 21st.

Representing the Government of Mongolia is Minister for Industry and Agriculture Khaltmaa Battulga, the meeting chair, and for Vietnam, their Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Cao Duc Phat. The representatives took part in bilateral talks and shared views on further the mutual relationship and cooperation between the two countries. They agreed to enhance commercial and economic ties and to intensify the collaboration in education, industry, agriculture, science, sport, culture and infrastructure.

Minister Kh.Battulga will hold meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam those responsible for Industrial and Agricultural Affairs, Hoang Trung Hai and Vu Huy Hoang, the Minister of Industry and Trade. Minister Kh.Battulga intends to get up to speed with the complexities of both the heavy and light industries of Vietnam.

The closing of the intergovernmental meeting will see both sides jointly signing the intergovernmental commission meeting proposal and a Partnership Agreement for 2012-2014 between the Ministries of Health of the two countries.
