Aung San Suu Kyi to visit Mongolia

Purevsuren Lundeg the National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gankhuyag Damba, are making an official visit to Myanmar. 

Mongolian officials met the Head of Myanmar`s President`s Office, the Deputy Speaker, the Head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Ministers to exchange views on bilateral cooperation.

Parliament and the Government of Myanmar said that their representatives along with Aung San Suu Kyi, Burmese opposition politician and chairperson of the National League for Democracy (NLD), will take part in the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies. The conference is to take place in Ulaanbaatar on April 27th to 29th, 2013.

Mongolia is preparing the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies where foreign ministers from 131 countries and 20 international organizations have been invited.

According to a report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mongolia considers inviting leaders and prominent political figure from over 10 countries as honorary guests to the Conference.
