Armenia shares with Mongolia its family medicine experience

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. The delegation of Mongolian experts is currently in Armenia to study Armenia’s experience in family medicine, Armenia’s Ministry of Health reports.

The Mongolian side implies it will help them to develop policy and reform the strategy of the primary health protection.

Deputy Health Minister of Armenia Sergey Khachatryan introduced the Mongolian delegation with the healthcare reforms in Armenia highlighting family medicine as a key chain for the primary health protection.

Khachatryan assured the Ministry is ready to share Armenia’s family medicine formation experience.

Mr. Bulganchimeg, Health Minister of Mongolia, assessed the Armenian experience in this sphere as the best among the other states of the region.

The Mongolian delegation also plans to visit family medicine offices located in different regions of the republic, study family medicine quality regulation, as well as discuss the organizational and financial issues with the Armenian colleagues.
