24 Mongolians missing in South Korea

The Embassy of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea has released a list of missing Mongolians in South Korea.

According to the list posted on the official website of the Embassy 24 civilians are missing. They all have officially registered on the website with their photograph and name.

Most of them lost contact between 1993 and 1999. The released list of missing people was disapproved by their families. Devastated family members of the missing people are still searching for them in vane.

However, some of the family members claim that the release of the list of missing people after so many years is no use. They also complained about the Mongolian Embassy staff failure to search for the missing people.

It is still a mystery whether the Mongolians who lived and worked in the South Korea became victims of crime or human trafficking.
