The works to combat air pollution to be strengthened
The plenary meeting of the national committee to decrease the air pollution was held on February 1st. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the President’s Office, the Chairman of the national committee to combat air pollution P.Tsagaan and the participants expressed their positions on the related issue.
The national committee to combat the air pollution has completed the transition term works that have been implemented to reduce the air pollution and further intends to promote the creation works to build satellite cities, to improve the infrastructure, removing ger districts and to increase the electricity and heating supply.
The meeting participants informed that the exhaust emitted from the vehicles tend to increase, however the air pollution was reduced in result of introducing improved stove and providing ger district residents with smokeless fuel.
Also the participants supported the idea of governor of Bayangol District D.Osoroo to put control on vehicles that emit large amount of exhaust fume.
Suring the meeting P.Tsagaan said “We should think that combating with air pollution is war and we should work like warriors. I hope we will complete many creative and beneficial works in 2013.”
