Mongolians in abroad are able to vote in presidential election

A law on the presidential election that was passed last December includes some new amendments to clarify the term “public” so that Mongolian nationals in abroad are able to vote in the presidential election.

A study shows that over 90 percent of the handicapped are not able to vote in elections.
But the handicapped will be able to vote in the election this time. Disabled people and wheelchair users will be able to vote in an election without queuing or any obstacles.
The blind will be provided with Braille ballot paper.

According to the law there should be no less than two voting cabins for disabled people in a voting room.

During previous elections there was wide spread criticism about eliminating candidates due to party discrimination. But from this election the subjects who make up the list will be evident.

The law on the presidential election clearly states the punishments for any violation of the law. New amendments were made to the election law that passed in 1992 due to necessary requirements over time.
