Koreans arrested near Mongolian border

Foreigners who were taking pictures and carrying out illegal surveillance in a Hyundai Verna vehicle, plate number 43-31 SEA, near the border of Mongolia were arrested by border guards of 0101 military unit.

According to the law on Mongolian borders any civilian of foreign or Mongolian nationality must gain permission from related organizations in order to enter the border area.

The arrested intruders had no permission to enter the area. The intruders were arrested when they were taking pictures and making a film of the border area. Border guards determined that the intruders were Koreans. However because there was no criminal behavior involved in the incident the intruders were released after being charged a fine and the illegal video records and pictures were seized according to Administrative Law. The intruders were warned not to repeat the action by the border guards.
