A Mongolian judoka appointed to Judo for Peace Commission

International Master of Judo Wrestling, chairman of Khuch sport committee of General Police Department of Mongolia, Pagva Bira has been appointed to Assistant director of Judo for Peace Commission.

International Judo Federation appointed Pagva Bira, Vice President of Mongolian Judo Federation as Assistant director of Judo for Peace Commission during Judo Grand Slam, Paris 2013 in France in February. Ph.D Pagva Bira officially received a certificate on February 27th. This is the first time that a Mongolian has been appointed to work for International Judo Federation.

Pagva Bira graduated from the University of Prague then received Ph.D in science at Moscow State University. Pagva Bira is Vice President of Mongolian Judo Federation, Mongolian and Czech Judo Master.

Judo for Peace Commission is one of the partners of UN. A working group of representatives from Poland, Mongolia, Burundi, Nepal, Germany and Australia lead by Mr. Jan Eirik Schiotz works for Judo for Peace Commission.
